Ayan Mukerji unveils the concept of ‘Brahmastra’
On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the makers of Brahmastra have released a great video based on the concept and foundation of Astras and Brahmastra. It can be understood that the makers have shared the concept of their upcoming film through this video.
In the four-minute video, Ayan Mukerji shows the audience the concept and history behind the weapons as well as the foundation of this universe in Indian mythology. Brahmastra: Part One begins with the story of the sages who got the light of the universe (Brahma Shakti) from Brahma Shakti, from which the weapons were born. Astras include all the different energies found in nature such as earth, air, fire, water, as well as the power of animals like monkeys and bulls.
Brahmastra is considered to be the last weapon, which has been described by the lord of all weapons as the most powerful weapon of the gods. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor playing the lead role is a modern-day hero, unaware of his mystical powers. He is a miracle in the world of weapons, because he himself is a weapon – Agni Astra (The Fire Weapon). He is also named after the most mysterious and almighty Lord Shiva. Ayan also revealed that Lord Shiva is very dear to him personally and is also his biggest inspiration.
In the video Ayan says that this puts us in a unique position, because what we are doing with ancient Indian inspiration, in the modern world, no one has ever done it. The video has also been shared on the social media handles of Ayan Mukerji, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar. Brahmastra is all set to hit the theaters on September 9, 2022.
Produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, the seminal work will release on 9 September 2022 in 5 Indian languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The film features important actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
